Dr. Seraly is a licensed physician in the state of Pennsylvania, New York, Florida and West Virginia and a board-certified dermatologist since 1994. He received his degree in Medicine from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA (now named the Sidney Kimmel School of Medicine) and completed his dermatology training at the University of Pittsburgh where he also served as Chief Resident and Director of Clinical Services in the Department of Dermatology prior to entering private practice in 2000. Dr. Seraly is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Pittsburgh Academy of Dermatology, American Telemedicine Association and previously served on the American Academy of Dermatology’s telemedicine task force and Vice-Chaired the American Telemedicine Association’s teledermatology special interest group. He currently serves on the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS), National Institutes of Health (NIH)- Data and Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB). Dr. Seraly has an active clinical private practice in dermatology with a particular interest in acne, skin cancer, surgical skin cancer management, infectious skin diseases, autoimmune skin disorders, teledermatology and cosmetic skin care. Outside of the office, he is a professional oil painter.
