Jeffrey Dover, MD, FRCPC graduated as the silver medalist, magna cum laude with a medical degree from the University of Ottawa. His dermatology training was received at the University of Toronto followed by research fellowships at St. John’s Hospital for Diseases of the Skin at the University of London in London, England, and a two-year photomedicine fellowship at the Beth Israel Hospital and the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School. Dr. Dover is a former Associate Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School, was Chief of Dermatology at the New England Deaconess Hospital for over ten years and Associate Chairman of Dermatology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Today, Dr. Dover is Director of SkinCare Physicians, and Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology, at Yale University School of Medicine, and Associate Professor of Dermatology at Brown Medical School.
Julie Harper, MD, received her medical degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia School of Medicine, and went on to complete an internship in Internal Medicine.
She completed her undergraduate degree at Southeast Missouri State University and her dermatology residency at the University of Missouri, Columbia.
Dr.
Harper is a Founding Director of the American Acne and Rosacea Society and is the organization’s past-President.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and recently served on the AAD’s Acne Work Group, tasked with writing acne treatment guidelines.
Dr.
Harper is also a member of the Women’s Dermatological Society and a former President of the Alabama Dermatological Society.
She was a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Alabama-Birmingham through 2020.
She has spoken extensively on the subject of acne and rosacea extensively and been and been published in journals and publications on a variety of medical dermatology topics.
